Cape Malay Bobotie Spice Oil

Ingredients:
2c Olive and Seed Oil Blend
1t Isabella’s Cape Malay Bobotie Spice Blend (*See Master Class Index, Herbs & Spices)
1t Turmeric
1t Coriander Seed, Whole, Toasted
1t Yellow Mustard Seed, Toasted
½ t Dried Garlic Flakes
¼ t Dried Chili Flakes
¼ t Cumin Seeds
5 Black Peppercorns
2 Curry Leaves
1 Dried Chili
1 Bay Leaf

Instructions:
Infuse for 5 minutes on Medium Heat. Let it sit for 1 hour, Lid on. Place in Sterilized Jars and keep in the Pantry in a cool dark place. Use for all your hearty Winter Curries or Spicy Dishes. This oil is delicious in *Spicy Humus!

*Spicy Humus with Cape Malay Bobotie Spice Oil
Ingredients:
2c Soft Boiled Chickpeas
½ c Danish Feta (Optional)
½ c Nut Butter (Tahini, Seed, Peanut or any Nut Butter will work)
4-6 Tbsp *Cape Malay Bobotie Spice Oil
Juice and Zest of 1 Lemon
3 Garlic Cloves, chopped finely
1.5t Maldon Salt (Taste, add more if needed!)
1 ml Cajun Pepper
Black Pepper, Ground

Instructions:
Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until super smooth. Drizzle with more Cape Malay Bobotie Spice Oil. Serve with Flatbreads or Crudités. YUM!
