Nut & Seed Sprinkles
These little crunchy morsels are for ‘Seedphilic’ Lovers as me– a total ‘Crunch-Addict’ who goes Nuts over Nuts! Sprinkle them over Yoghurt, Salads, Breads Bakes, Tarts, Soups or use as a Garnish or Topping over Food.
Ingredients:
5 Walnuts
2 Tbsp Dehydrated Onion Flakes, Chopped (see Powders) or Crisp Fried Onions
2 Tbsp Pine Nuts
2 Tbsp Sunflower Seed, Toasted
2 Tbsp Pumpkin Seed, Toasted
1 t Flax Seed, Toasted
1 t Sesame Seed, Toasted
1 t Poppy Seed
¼ t Cumin
¼ t Turmeric, Ground
¼ t Red Chili, Stalked and Seeded, Finely Chopped
Pinch of Salt
Instructions:
Place all the ingredients in a pan and toast for 5 minutes. Blitz together in a blender lightly so that there is still a coarse texture. Sprinkle over food and enjoy the crunch!
