Folks, there is nothing easier than to Dry your own Herbs at Home. Simply cut them from the garden, give them a wash and dry, once dry, place them into Brown Paper Baggies. Leave them to dry for 3-4 weeks in a cool dark place, then, sift out the leaves from the stems using a sieve, and Voila, you have yourself Home Dried Herbs you can use straight away in your cooking or use to create a scrumptious Herb or Spice Salt, Rub, Spice Blend or Powder. The options are limitless – try this today…it is great fun, easy and it is so much better to use Seasonal Herbs in full bloom that will contain much more aromatic oils and provide jam-packed flavour than Out of Season Stock. Let the Flavour Begin!

All Purpose Home Dried Basic Herb & Spice Blend
1 c Dried Rosemary Leaves
½ c Dried Origanum Leaves
½ c Dried Thyme Leaves
½ c Dried Marjoram Leaves
2 Tbsp Himalayan Rock Salt
2 Tbsp Black Peppercorns
1 Tbsp Pink Peppercorns
1 Dried Red Chili, Stalked

Blend all the Ingredients together in the blender until the desired texture. Store in a mason jar in a cool dark place. I use this on Roasted Potatoes, Roasted Vegetables, Poultry, Pork, Fish, Red Meat or Grill Foods. Add Dried Citrus Powder for an extra bit of Lift.
